Preschool Program

Welcome to our engaging and comprehensive preschool program! At Great Beginnings Learning Center, we are proud to implement the research-based and classroom-tested Learning Beyond Paper Curriculum. Our LBP Curriculum is carefully designed to cater to the needs of children, nurturing their cognitive, social, and emotional development. With a strong focus on social-constructivist principles, our curriculum encourages collaborative learning through peer-based activities and intentional interactions with our caring teachers. Emphasizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), our young learners are encouraged to explore, create, and problem-solve, laying the foundation for future success.  Curriculum scaffolds throughout the year to enhance and master skills. Our goal is to foster a love for learning and provide a strong educational foundation, making Great Beginnings Learning Center the perfect place for your child to thrive. 

Kidokinetics visits GBLC every other week to provide our Preschool and Pre-K students with high-energy, age-appropriate sports and physical education experiences.  Using evidence-based methods, Kidokinetics supports physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development—helping children build coordination, confidence, teamwork skills, and a love for active play. 

We also offer the LEX Dance Travel Program at GBLC. This is an optional enrichment program available at an additional cost. LEX Dance holds weekly daytime classes right here at the center, making it convenient for families while giving children the opportunity to explore movement and creativity. Class options include Creative Movement (ages 2–3), Combo: Tap & Ballet (ages 4–5), Boys Crew (ages 3–5), and Musical Theater (ages 4–5) — there’s something for everyone!

 We also offer convenient before and after care for Early Learning Center students attending AM or PM sessions. Located right next door, students are safely walked to and from the ELC each day.
